Task management on the iPhone
I've resurrected my task management craze after starting my runner job at Dr. Phil again. I've always carried around some 3x5 cards with me to take notes and capture ideas, but since I'm completely mobile (no computer, no desk), I've found it hard to take my entire TODO list with me everywhere and keep current with it.
Of course, now that I have my iPhone 3GS, I feel reinvigorated to use it to do absolutely everything. So I've explored some task management software that works for the Mac and iPhone together, specifically Things and OmniFocus. I found a nice Posterous comment on the difference between these two by SilverSkull (first comment) that gives a very thoughtful breakdown on the differences between these two products as they relate to normal people on the one hand and crazy GTDers on the other.
I'm downloading both trials as we speak for use in the next couple weeks. And I keep looking at this pad of paper next to me and thinking, "Why not just use this?" Do you use anything to keep track of your TODOs: paper, 3x5 cards, post-its, back-of-hand, the WOPR? If so, what's your preference?
